Set up nature-based activities for families to enjoy

What’s involved

  • Choose nature activities for families to enjoy and determine how families will report on these activities.
  • Organize and purchase materials to support activities, if required.
  • Place activities outdoors (this can be in outdoor school spaces, neighbourhoods, local parks, or sent home in student learning packages).
  • Advertise the date and times of the activity to families via classroom teacher or social media so that families know when this activity will be taking place.
  • Celebrate the learning with your families via social media.
