Virtual feel-good art days

What’s involved

When students have a chance to express themselves through positive message and sharing art and poetry, it can enhance their well-being while reducing stress and anxiety.

Hosting virtual days where students have an opportunity to do just that can build these positive health habits.

To execute this, staff will need to create opportunities for students to prepare this work in class through language lessons, art lessons, or health lessons. From there, sharing the content can be as simple or as sophisticated as needed.

Examples include in-class sharing time (Show and Tell), student slide shows showcasing their work on social media, using holiday events to showcase their work, or creating a general public art gallery or studio walk for parents and community members to see.
