Send postcards to students – let them know they’re missed!

What’s involved

Build connections with students and remind them that they matter by sending them a postcard. Cultivating personal relationships with students will engage them in class while nurturing the teacher-student relationship.

  • Decide whether you want to send a postcard virtually or through the mail:
    • Mail: more costly because you have to pay for postage. However, getting fun mail is a rare treat so it might cause more excitement.
    • Virtual postcards: less expensive with endless creativity to tailor the postcard. Consider using cartoon programs like BitMoji to make your postcards fun and lively.
  • Send the postcards.
