What’s involved

Students role modelling healthy behaviours is a great way to build buy-in and willingness of others to get up and get active. It is also a great reminder that being physically active is important.

  • Give opportunities for students to move in class, whether through a movement break, dance party, or organized game.
  • Record students participating, or ask parents or students to take photos or videos of them participating.
  • Celebrate students on social media pages for participating in movement breaks while learning.
  • Build momentum by encouraging or challenging other students and classrooms to do the same.
