What’s involved

When students are outdoors, they move more and sit less. Physical activity is essential not only to physical health but also to mental health. To encourage students to engage in various outdoor activities and projects, you will need to:

  • Prepare an activity for the students to complete.
  • Explain to the students the parameters, time commitment, and materials required for the activity.
  • Discuss how to turn in the assignment/ activity.
  • Celebrate students’ successes with the activities.
